Amazing Stone Sculptures by California based Artist Woods Davy

The art of sculptor Woods Davy is both inspired by nature and composed of natural elements. The artist, who lives and works in Venice, California, creates what he calls a sense of “Western Zen” with his gravity-defying rock sculptures. His Cantamar and Granite series feature a number of collected stones arranged in an impossible balancing act, leaving one to reflect on its unnatural configuration and one's own spirituality. These Sculptures of heavy stone elements seem to defy gravity and float like clouds, roll like waves, or bend with the flow of the ocean's chaotic currents.

Splendid Sculptures by British Artist Su Blackwell

Su Blackwell is an artist working predominantly within the realm of paper. Paper has been used for communication since its invention; either between humans or in an attempt to communicate with the spirit world. Su employs this delicate, accessible medium and uses irreversible, destructive processes to reflect on the precariousness of the world we inhabit and the fragility of our life, dreams and ambitions. She makes intricate art-works from every-day objects, transforming clothes and books into fantastical three-dimensional forms.
